“Rice ferment extract” is a naturally derived ingredient obtained by fermenting and aging rice with koji mold and yeast—essentially, it is Japanese sake. Both the yeast and water are carefully sourced from Kyoto.
Through fermentation, microbial enzymes break down and transform the rice into smaller components, resulting in a rich concentration of beneficial ingredients such as amino acids, peptides, minerals, and vitamins.
